The Book of Fish and Fishing
New York: Charles Scribner and Sons, 1920. First Edition. Hardcover, in light green cloth. Condition wise, this book is not great however as I know the devotion with which fly-fishers and others ply their craft, we would not want this historic text to be lost. Overall the book very readable. It is loose in the binding and signatures and has a few tired hinges and a worn cover. Inside it is complete, bright with little toning. The cloth cover has a few spots. This book covers fishing from catching to cooking. Originally published in 1908. This version is 1920. It was acquired from an estate with a collection of old fishing books, others of which have been posted as well. Good. Item #276
